I was kept in a cage and used for breeding.  One day my owner decided I wasn't useful anymore and dropped me off at the shelter.  I had never had contact with humans so I was mean and would bite.  I was sick.  My fur was falling out and my teeth were rotted. No one wanted to adopt me.  Pepper's Place saved me and now I can live the rest of my life without fear of being locked in a cage, dropped off at a shelter, or thrown out on the street.
